Years of Experience: 10 years Location Options: In Studio, In Webcam Genres: RB, Gospel, Pop, Soul, Hip Hop Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Vocal Lessons,Song Writing Lessons Overview: In the 6th grade, Denisha turned in a last minute journal entry for a reading assignment and as a surprise to her, her ELA teacher raved to the class saying, 'This is the best one I’ve ever read. I could hear and feel her every word! I felt like I was experiencing the reading all over again.' At this moment, Denisha knew her voice and held power, so she began pouring it into her music. Being so open and unapologetically true to herself with her emotions through music has not only shaped Denisha into who she is as a person, but also influenced her artistry and what she stands for as NISH, the raw and authentic artist from the burbs of New York. Her RB fused Pop sound not only makes any listener feel all the feels, but also encourages a strong, confident, sense of self. While always leading with love and compassion, NISH finds no hesitation making music that reminds herself and all of her supporters to forget what everybody else has to say and break free from the shackles of what is thought to be THE way. Make your own niche. BE your own NISH. Following her own advice has landed NISH on stages like NBC’s The Voice, New Day Associates All Star Fashion Weekend, Belmont University MLK Celebration, Melissa County Celebration of Freedom Festival, and more. Years of Experience: 12+ Location Options: In Studio, In Webcam Travel Radius: 15 Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Acoustic Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Vocal Lessons Overview: I've enjoyed singing ever since I was a child. I remember being mesmerized hearing the sound of Luciano Pavarotti performing on television when I was five years old, and the electricity it filled me with. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to give that feeling to other people, and I've had the good fortune to do just that fronting my own band in Fort Worth, Texas. I have professional vocal training at Jan Smith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, whose students include the likes of Rob Thomas, Usher, Collective Soul, and Mastodon, and extensive performing experience under my belt, both with my band and elsewhere. There is nothing I love more than performing music and getting people inspired to feel the same passion and energy for it that I do. Musi is a boundless wellspring of creativity and expression, and I treasure being able to nurture that spark in other people. I am well versed and knowledgeable about a wide variety of music styles, from just about every flavor of rock to country, blues, folk, soul, reggae, RB, pop, gospel, and jazz, and am able to provide quality, relatively-nurturing instruction in voice, songwriting, and lyrical composition. Trevor's Music Lessons (Guitar, Orchestral, Song Writing, Vocal)
by Taylor Robinson Music
Mckinney, TX
Location Options: In Home, In Webcam Travel Radius: 25 Genres: Rock, Classical, Acoustic, Pop Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons,Vocal Lessons,Song Writing Lessons,Orchestral Lessons Overview: Hello everyone! My name is Trevor, and I'm a graduate of Southwestern University, where I earned my Bachelor's of Music in Music Theory/Composition. My musical training began at a very early age, when I was first enrolled in beginning piano lessons at the age of six, but my true passion for music wasn't quite sparked until I started taking guitar lessons when I was eight years old. Thanks to the direction of my various instructors' assignments and some soul-searching through iTunes and, later, Spotify, I swift developed an intensely strong love of practically all things alternative rock. When I joined the Faubion Middle School orchestra in McKinney, Texas during my sixth grade year, I began to learn the viola and, during my many years of orchestra participation, private lessons and college courses, I developed a strong passion for Romantic, Modern and neo-Romantic Classical music. In terms of overall music training, I've currently accrued fourteen years of pop/rock acoustic and electric guitar lessons under my belt, including instruction from Allen, TX based teacher Warren McDonald, a graduate of the University of North Texas' College of Music. I would go on to perform electric guitar in several school pop orchestra performances, playing solos on songs such as "Sunshine of Your Love", by Cream, "Uprising", by Muse, and "Christmas Eve-Saraejvo 12/24", by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I also got to perform in McKinney High School's 2014 Winter Battle of the Bands, where I played acoustic guitar and sang two originals of mine to much applause and acclaim afterwards! For viola, I've been performing in school orchestras and in various duets and ensembles with fellow students for almost eleven years now and have been enrolled in private lessons that entire time, with these previous two years seeing me studying with Austin Symphony Orchestra violist Blake Turner. In-between 2008 and 2015, I participated in McKinney's UIL Solo and Ensemble concert, often receiving highly rated awards, whether I was playing in my orchestra, as a soloist, in a duet, or an ensemble. At Southwestern University, I performed in something around 2-3 student centered recitals almost every semester, playing about 2-3 solos in each one, so I have lots of performing experience! Including an introductory music theory course during my Senior year of high school, my college has also gifted me with several years of music theory, solfege/ear training, music history, music composition, orchestration, music technology and conducting courses, so I know what I'm doing when it comes to songwriting if that also interests you! Music is beautiful and poetic in more ways than I could possibly describe. It says more than words ever could, so I can't imagine myself living without it, and I'm excited to spread that passion and appreciation to others! -Education- Degree: Bachelor's of Music in Music Theory/Composition School: Southwestern University Dates: 2015-08 Degree: Bachelor's of Music in Music Theory/Composition School: Southwestern University Dates: 2015-08

My name is Ray, I am a multi instrumentalist with over 10 years experience playing the piano, drums, and trumpet. I have devoted my life to playing, writing, and now teaching music. I am a beginner in terms of teaching, however I have a knack for picking up new skills very quickly, especially if they involve music. On piano, I like to play all sorts of styles from classical, to rock, pop, and even a little jazz. I focus more on music theory and improvisational techniques, but have the ability to teach you how to read music as well. On the drums, I can teach you the basics, and get you started with several fun and fresh rock, funk, and jazz grooves and fills, however reading drum music is something I am also very new to.
