However, teaching has played a major role in my life for even longer, as I have learned a great deal from being both a teacher and a student. As an instructor, I have, in addition to private music lessons, taught a wide variety of subjects to an even wider age range, including preschool basics, multiple levels of martial arts and summer day camp activities. My teaching philosophy is based on the notion that learning to play an instrument can be just as intuitive as learning to speak or walk. In this vein, I try to identify and adapt to each student's respective learning style which, I find, makes the process more comfortable, meaningful and rewarding. My main goal is for you to love playing as much as I do and, of course, to learn a few things in the process. So, whether your instrument of choice is guitar, bass or piano, I've got you covered.
