Northern VA / DMV Area! We are back with the Ultimate IN-PERSON Communication Intensive for High School Students at our awesome Highest Speak Center in Reston, VA! Camp runs from 1:30–4:30 PM — perfect for high schoolers who like sleeping in during the summer! High school is when communication skills truly start to matter. Students are expected to participate in class discussions, present projects, interview for internships and leadership roles, collaborate in groups, and soon interview for college and jobs. Yet most students are rarely taught how to organize their ideas clearly, write strong arguments, and present them confidently! That’s exactly what this program focuses on. In this high-energy, 5-day program (3 hours per day) students will build powerful communication skills while having a TON of fun through engaging speaking challenges, interactive activities, and real-world scenarios. Students will practice both writing and presenting, learning how to develop ideas quickly and communicate them clearly in front of others. Throughout the week, students will learn how to: • Organize their ideas quickly and clearly • Write and structure short speeches effectively • Present their ideas with confidence and clarity • Think on their feet during impromptu speaking • Manage nervousness when speaking in front of others • Respond thoughtfully to unexpected questions • Develop stronger social communication skills and presence Students will practice both prepared speaking and impromptu speaking, which are critical skills for high school success. Each week, our littlest Broadway fans and caregivers are introduced to exciting new songs, characters, and stories as Broadway Musicals are brought to life by a team of professional teaching artists. Created by a professional performer turned early childhood development specialist, Broadway & Me's unique curriculum is both entertaining and developmentally appropriate. Each class incorporates activities that are designed to support your little one’s physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development.

Explore the Magic Clock Shop! Kiddos will spend a day filled with imagination and adventure as they help Oliver Whizgear, resident owl tinkerer, with his newest creations! Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:30 - 4:00pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. Whether your child is a competitive dancer or just looking to try something new, at La Salle's dance camp your child will learn new skills and explore different dance styles with a focus on building confidence and a joy for dance. The week will conclude with a special performance at the end of the camp where all campers show off what they learned throughout the week. Do they have ideas they TRULY believe in and would love to voice? Do you just want to improve their overall speech confidence while they learn how to structure and present a speech? Well, this is THEIR moment! In this awesome 1/2 Day Camp, we will: - Review the fundamentals of effective speech PERFORMANCE; - Have discussions about various TEDx Talks topics or current events; - Analyze various TED Talks; - Play multiple public speaking games and work on public speaking quick speech assignments during the class; - Learn how to STRUCTURE a TEDX Speech; - Receive instructor feedback and/or peer feedback; and - Writing and present a final TEDx Talk chosen by the student! Join us for Build a House Week! We will be creating homes for our dolls, stuffies or what ever you have at tucked into your bed! From building the boxes, to designing the wallpaper and carpets, to building furniture. This week is not ideal for children under 7 years old as there will be a lot of hot glue and building, but they can still give it their best try. ​ We are looking forward to seeing rooftop terraces, pools, gardens and more!

During this week campers get to enjoy a different ceramic and slime daily. ​ We know going home we so many slimes and ceramics can be overwhelming - so we have you covered. We will also be mixing in some watercolor and acrylic projects throughout the week. From fluffy slime to glow in the dark and snow slime - we will keep the campers day filled with exciting activities!

Step into a fairy-tale world full of magic potions and make-believe for a day. Campers will be able to let their creative juices flow as they craft their own fairy costumes, come up with a unique fairy name and magical power, and take off flying into their imaginations! We will set the stage for some fun pretend play and craft time that will draw inspiration from fairy lore while celebrating each kiddo’s creative ideas.
