Each week, Broadway Little Stars introduces preschoolers to a new musical through activities inspired by the “show of the week” and designed to get them singing, dancing, and acting along. Classes are taught by professional teaching artists who are experts at engaging and educating children in fun, developmentally appropriate ways. Whether your child is ready for the spotlight or simply loves musicals, this class is for them!

Each week, our littlest Broadway fans and caregivers are introduced to exciting new songs, characters, and stories as Broadway Musicals are brought to life by a team of professional teaching artists. Created by a professional performer turned early childhood development specialist, Broadway & Me's unique curriculum is both entertaining and developmentally appropriate. Each class incorporates activities that are designed to support your little one’s physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development.

Broadway Stars was created by a professional performer turned child development specialist with the primary goal of helping children develop the foundational skills and technique every musical theater performer needs while giving them the opportunity to find their voice, build confidence, and do what every budding Broadway Star loves most: PERFORM! Classes are taught by a team of professional teaching artists with years of experience in the classroom and on professional stages and feature a customized curriculum designed to challenge and showcase the strengths of each young performer while helping prepare them to participate in our mainstage musical this Spring. Each week, your child will participate in acting games, choreography rehearsal, and vocal coachings as they learn scenes and songs from Broadway Musicals that they will perform onstage for family and friends at the end of the semester. Whether your child is destined for the lights of Broadway or simply loves to perform with their friends, this class will spark their creativity and give them the confidence to shine both onstage and off! *While participation in our Fall Semester is not required to enroll in our Spring Production classes, it is strongly encouraged. *Our Fall Finale will take place on a weeknight the week of December 14. Once we know how many students are participating in Stars this Fall, we will be able to finalize the location, day, and time and share that information with families. *There will be no regular class the week of Decembr 14th as we will be doing our performance instead!

Join us for this week-long musical theater camp featuring selections from the hit Broadway musical, MAMMA MIA, that is sure to help your camper develop the skills every performer needs to perform on a Broadway Stage. Campers will spend the week singing, dancing, acting, and rehearsing for their end of the week showcase that will take place on the last day of camp! They’ll also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” with process art projects that introduce them to theatrical elements such as costumes, props, and sets. This squeaky clean adaptation of the rockin’ Broadway musical is everything teachers, parents and kids love; a classic story about following your dreams and fighting for what’s right set to an exciting and fun 80's rock soundtrack featuring hit songs like "Don't Stop Believing", "We Built This City", 'Shadows of the Night" and more! Ready to rock? Join Stages for our 2027 Winter Musical: ROCK OF AGES Youth Edition *5th Grades will be permitted to enroll in our Winter Musical with program permission. *STUDENTS ARE PERMITTED TO ENROLL FOR BOTH THE FALL PLAY & WINTER MUSICAL. Tuition to participate in both shows is $1350. Discount will be applied at checkout. WHAT TO EXPECT: Stages’s unique approach to working with middle schoolers focuses as much on the process as it does the product. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and supportive environment in which young performers get to participate in an intensive rehearsal process focusing on character and scene study, choreography, basic musicianship skips, and vocal technique while putting together a fully staged production. Auditions at Stages are designed to be a low stress, fun experience. Middle School Musical students get the chance to do a comprehensive audition process complete with 32 bar cut vocal audition, dance call, cold reads, and callbacks. Casting will be done traditionally with 1-2 actors playing each role. EVERY CHILD WILL BE GIVEN A ROLE IN THE SHOW. We will work together with children to make sure they have a role. that they are excited to perform! --Weeks 3-11 (Sep 21 - Nov 21): Putting It Together-- During Weeks 3-9, the cast will participate in weekly rehearsals. During these classes, we will focus on character development, blocking the show, learning choreography and music. --Weeks 12-14 (Nov 30 - Dec 19): Prepping for Opening Night-- During Weeks 12-14, the cast will begin running doing “Run Thrus” where they perform the show from start to finish. We’ll also start adding in transitions so performers know when and how to enter/exit the stage, when to get microphones, make a costume change, or pick up a prop from the prop table. These classes are VERY important and we ask that you do your best to ensure your child is at every class unless they are ill. *There will be no class on November 25 and 28* WINTER BREAK: December 21 - January 2 -Additional rehearsals may be added the early in the week of December 21 but these will be optional to accommodate families who are traveling. TECH WEEK: Sunday, January 3 - Thursday, January 7 The week of the show, we will be having rehearsals after school at the theater. These rehearsals will be MANDATORY.
