CAMP DETAILS -July 28-Aug 1 -ages 6.5-11 YEARS OLD (entering 1st-6th) -9am-2pm (bring snack, lunch, & water bottle) -Theme: Wicked -Friday performance at 1pm -Location: Chapelwood UMC (11140 Greenbay St. Houston, TX 77024) -Dress code: comfy clothes for dancing and playing, closed toed sneakers ABOUT THE CAMP: -Campers take daily dance, singing, and acting class -Campers audition and rehearse a musical theater show throughout the week -Daily craft time and games -Every student gets the opportunity to have a singing solo and acting line in the show! -Performance on Friday for family and friends -Students with and without disabilities welcomed! NOTE ABOUT INCLUSION/TEACHER AIDS: Students should participate independently for most of the camp activities. Volunteers and teachers will be present to assist when needed! Camps are staffed with 1 lead teacher, 1 assistant teachers, and 1-2 volunteers per 12 campers. Maximum of ~12 students in this age bracket. We do not have a nurse on staff. We are not certified to administer prescription medication. All students MUST be able to use the restroom by themselves.
