Welcome to the Chocolate Treat Sculpture Camp! This week, campers will craft a box of chocolates using clay and various art materials. They'll learn to shape, texture, and color their sculptures to look like real chocolates. By Friday, all participants will box their finished, lifelike chocolate sculptures to take home. Emotions in Motion – Readers Theater, Monologues & Improv (Rising Grades 2-4) Unlock the power of expression at our 5-day summer camp, where kids will explore how to bring emotions to life through readings, monologues, and improv! Each 2-hour session is designed to help campers connect with their emotions and express them clearly through their voices and actions. They’ll dive into Readers Theater, practice delivering powerful monologues, and have a blast with improv games that encourage spontaneous emotion and creativity. Campers will receive valuable feedback from both peers and instructors, helping them refine their skills and build confidence in their public speaking abilities. Whether they're reading a script or improvising on the spot, they’ll learn how to use tone, volume, and body language to make their performances truly engaging. This camp is perfect for kids who want to strengthen their emotional expression, improve their public speaking, and have a ton of fun along the way! 1-1:45: Lunch/quiet activity/Parent Drop Off For morning students, they may eat a packed lunch, relax, and work on a quiet activity. Students only registered for afternoon can choose to bring lunch and eat during this period or arrive by 1:45 in time for camp. 1:45-2pm: Circle Up Students will gather up for a quick warm or fun discussion or game. 2-4:00pm: Lesson and Practice Students will work on the lesson for the day and practice their voices and emotions through readers theater, monologues, or improv games! 4-4:30pm: Wind-Down and Parent Pick-Up Students will wind down with a quiet activity while waiting for parents to pick up.

Soak up the sun and get ready to dance this summer with a very special ballet series! Summer Sunflower Ballet takes advantage of the long summer afternoons to explore movement, dance, and magic! All our ballet classes are designed to encourage make believe and to allow children to create their own dances that live inside their hearts! We will frolic around in our favorite costumes using imagination-stimulating games to dance our ways through the ocean of possibilities, with a mermaid themed show at the end of session!

Join us on a week-long journey as we explore the theater! Puppet theater, that is. Working in small groups, campers will create scripts, sets, and puppets from scratch. They will learn about the history of the theater, as well as what it takes to bring their characters to life. By the end of the week campers will put on their own theatrical performances. Camps include weekly field trips. Location of field trip TBD.
