In this inclusive class, the students will begin learning the basics of musical theater. The class will strengthen their creativity with theater based activities and games. They will practice things like auditioning, learning lines, projecting on stage, creating a character, and performing a solo. They will apply these lessons by rehearsing musical theater pieces together. At the end of the session, the students will perform a small presentation of the pieces they’ve worked on throughout the class! The price for this class is $270 per student (includes non-refundable $25 admin fee and non-refundable online processing fee). This price includes 11 after school classes. The tuition does not include additional costume fees or reserved ticket fees. Please keep in mind that our classes are very limited in size, and so if you choose to cancel your registration, you may be hindering us from filling that spot. Join us for this winter classic that illustrates the magic that is possible when you truly believe. Our pizza nights include theater games, costumes, a film-related craft, and of course… pizza (and carrot sticks)! 🎤 Talk Trekkers: Level 2 – Confident Communicators Grades 2–4 | 5 Weeks | 1 Hour Per Week (Prerequisite: Talk Trekkers Intro Class or Camp — see below) MUST BE IN GRADES 2-4! If your child has completed our Intro to Public Speaking class or camp, they’re ready for the next step! Level 2 builds on the foundations of content, structure, and performance, helping students grow into more expressive, confident, and purposeful speakers. In this high-energy and supportive course, students dig deeper into their delivery skills while learning how to write, organize, and speak with clarity using notecards — not memorization. Comedy Camp! Stand-Up & Stand Out! (Rising Grades 5-8) Get ready to write, perform, and bring the laughs in this fun and interactive comedy camp for rising 5th-8th graders! Stand-up comedy is one of the most challenging—but also most FUN—forms of public speaking, and this camp will help young comedians build the skills they need to craft clever (and age appropriate) jokes, develop their own comedic style, deliver punchlines, and stand-up on the comedic stage with confidence! Calling all secret agents! We are looking for a class of brave and adventurous kids to join for a week of make-believe espionage… In this camp we will make spy crafts, complete indoor obstacle courses, and pretend that we are secret agents on a mission! We will also work together to create a show about our mysterious experiences to share with friends and families on the last day. This is a wonderful camp for kids who love solving puzzles and riddles. We will order pizza, and have oranges and carrots for lunch!
