Program consists of:
Tutoring : Personal and individual needs met for completion of all homework, excluding nightly reading assignment
Creative free time : Examples include, but notlimited to:<br/>o Karaoke<br/>o Exercise<br/>o Water colors, pastels, coloring<br/>o Outdoor activities weather permitting<br/>o Educational games and toys<br/>Highlights:<br/> School bus drop off<br/>o Safe cul-de-sac with adult supervision<br/> Nutritious and wholesome snacks and drinks<br/>o Special dietary needs must be discussed during interview<br/> Intimate and private group setting<br/>o Limited to six students only<br/> Personalized homework guidance (ie: tutoring)<br/>o Support, re-teaching and completion of homework<br/> Creative free time <br/>o Arts, music and exercise<br/><br/>Program Director Biography:<br/> Para Educator<br/> Praxis Certified<br/> Certified as Train the trainer<br/> Mother of two academically successful students<br/> Nashville touring and recording artist<br/><br/>Daily assistant:<br/> High honors and Beta club member<br/> Certified babysitter<br/> Junior American Legion member<br/><br/>Email: SomersAfterSchoolAdvantage@gmail.com<br/>Cell: 860-462-7631<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Fee Schedule:<br/> No enrollment or registration fees!<br/> Mon Fri : Bus Drop off until 5:30 pm = $100/week<br/> After 5:30pm, $5.00 for every 15 minutes last pickup at 6:30pm.<br/> excluding early release days<br/> Early release days scheduled and unscheduled = $20 additional per day.<br/><br/>Two sessions:<br/>Session 1: School start through January 31st<br/>Session 2: February 1st through last day of school<br/> Reservations for Session 2 must be made by January 1st, 2016. <br/> A non-refundable reservation fee of $25.00 is required to secure your spot in Session 2. <br/><br/>Special Notes:<br/><br/> Special arrangements can be made for school cancelation days<br/> We follow the school calendar <br/> No penalty for up to 5 sick days per session credit will be issued to the following week.
