About Nakia

Hi! My name is Nakia. I am a 2020 graduate from Brookline High School and a gap year freshman. I lived in MA for a little over 3 years. I grew up and raised with 4 younger siblings and 3 younger cousins in Philadelphia, Pa since I was around 7. My specialties are: Math/History, all forms of Arts and Crafts, cooking/housework and having the best pillow fort. In High School years, I often volunteered in various forms of community service, this ranged from child assistance, tutoring, assisting in free clinic services for underrepresented groups, cleaning up the shores of Miami Fl and parks in Nicetown Philly Pa, reading and assisting the elderly, pet sitting and more. For reference, I worked with "Equine Assisted Therapies of South Florida" that is dedicated to providing therapeutic riding and activities to children and adults with special needs. As well as volunteer as a(n) student aid in my phenomenal teacher Ms. Judy Saler's Culinary classes at Brookline High.
