About Maria

Hi, my name is Maria! I'm an energetic and creative person looking for a rewarding position in childcare. Although I have experience working with children of all ages, I'm currently seeking a PT position (M-F between 8:30a-2p) caring for one child age infant to pre-K. I've supported many families since I began babysitting back in high school and am an experienced mother of two. I'm CPR certified, have a BS in communication, over 20 years experience as an executive assistant, my own transportation, and recently completed the WCPSS substitute teacher course. I am fun-loving, openminded, and truly appreciate seeing the world through young eyes, which is one of the reasons I'd like to focus my attention and snuggles on one child. In my personal time I enjoy gardening, traveling, being crafty, singing, watching documentaries with my husband, and doing whatever my teenage boys will still do with me!
