About Makenna

Hello Everyone! Here is a little preview about me :) I started working with kids when I was 20 as a camp counselor for children with autism. From there, I worked for 3 years as a children's behavioral health professional and technician. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, and exercise. One thing you should know about me is I have a degree in psychology (with a speciality in behavioral psychology). I am very comfortable working with children that others have deemed as "difficult". In fact, as a behavioral health professional, my specialty was aggressive and obstinate kids! However, that does not mean those are the only children I'm willing to work with. Just know that you can trust me when I say that I've seen it all already so not much phases me at this point. Along with that, I am currently studying for the MCAT to get into medical school. However, during work hours my attention will be 100% on your child/or children.
