About Mackenzie

Hello! My name is Mackenzie, I am a recent graduate from OSU and an experienced Caregiver from the Portland/Salem areas. I just moved to Hood River with my husband, and I'm excited to start connecting with families in the area! I've spent the last few years working part-time as a nanny for multiple families and have experience with kids of all ages, from newborn to preteen, and I have developed unique styles for interacting and caring for each of the different age groups I've had the opportunity to work with! In addition to caring for kids of multiple ages, I've also cared for children with special care requirements, such as specific dietary restrictions (diabetes, severe allergies, etc.), Down Syndrome, and ADHD. Additionally, I've spent time teaching children basic and developmental skills, as well as tutoring in math, reading, and writing through college levels.
