I have many years of experience, a unique set of skills, along with wonderful recommendations both in personal assistance work & elder care. I am a psychotherapist intern finishing my hours for licensure. This means you get my in depth experience helping people, being there for them with compassion, skill and knowledge. For 4 years I worked with a woman in her 90s who was on and off hospice: I cooked, organized, ran errands, worked with her nurses and doctors, advocated for her health, managed medications. I also was her companion, edited and helped her publish a final book of poetry (I am also a professional writer/editor and ran a social media page with my psychology writing, , as well as helped her face the struggles of chronic pain and end of life, and was requested to be by her bedside in the last days of her life, at 99 years of age.
