About Lauren

I am currently taking a break from my Master's in Social Work. I worked for a family with a senior member with a spinal cord injury - I found my love of caretaking through this position. My position included meal prep, errands, housekeeping, assistance with feeding, and helping them manage their small business. I have served as a household manager for two esteemed households. Duties included maintaining upmost discretion, managing household maintenance, integrating new home employees, and providing respite care for nannies. I have worked with children in educational, legal, and home settings. I served as a volunteer, providing near peer mentoring for youth at risk in middle school math classrooms. I also served as a court appointed special advocate for a teenager in the foster care system, and provided near peer mentoring Education through providing enrichment activities for a child whose parent was incarcerated.
