About Kiara

Hello! I have over 15 years experience caretaking for children personally (I have 2 kids). I have 9 years of professional experience working in a school setting (prek - 12th grade w/ various school districts). I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, an Associates degree in Behavioral & Social Science, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training, and 12 Early Childhood Education Units. I am currently in grad school getting my masters in school counseling. My expertise is working with special needs children, teaching social skills and adaptive daily living skills, implementing positive behavior interventions, providing tutoring to both special education and general education students, and providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for all individuals. I love working with kids of all ages and abilities. I highly value getting to know the individual and unique needs of the children I work with. It's nice to meet you!
