About Kara

I'm Kara! I have over 10 years of rich experience in child care and have always loved working with kids. I began volunteering in the church nursery when I was 13 years old and from there went on to get a job at 17 working as a full-time nanny for a family that had two special needs boys until they were grown and no longer required a sitter. I have also done many part-time sitter jobs for many different families and an array of age groups! My enthusiasm for developmental psychology drives my approach, ensuring each child's unique needs are met with understanding and patience. An avid lover of crafts, I enjoy thinking up creative activities that foster both fun and learning. With a strong background in supporting children with ADHD, autism, OCD, and other special needs, I am happy to support parents navigating these types of needs and behaviors. My goal is to provide a nurturing environment that champions positive development, compassion, and of course tons of fun!
