About Jocie

To start off , I am one of eight children which has allowed me ample experience with child care. I have been caring for children for about 13 years, I started as a babysitter when I was 12, I am now 25 years old. I have 6 nephews, I consistently watch two of my nephews ages 3 and 8, my 8-year-old nephew has Autism and I have also been certified as a personal support worker through the state. I love kids, I have been a counselor at multiple different Summer camps, as well as babysat for numerous families. Most recently I was a babysitter for a family in Eugene for their children (1, 6, 8) for the last 3 years (kids now 4, 9, 11). I am very patient and I love to do fun things with the kids I watch, including playing with toys, doing crafts, going outdoors on walks, bike rides, swimming, etc. I have a masters degree in elementary education and have been a 3rd grade teacher for the last 2 years.
