About Jennifer

Hello! I have 12 years of experience teaching middle school & high school English. I have my Bachelors in Secondary Education - English with endorsements in reading, speech, & theater. I'd describe my personality as knowledgeable, ambitious, & organized. I like tutoring because it is my goal to form a strong bond with my students & their caregivers so that we can achieve learning & success together. I'm looking for a job where I will be continuously learning & building relationships. I started tutoring in 2019, but I have been teaching since 2012. In my spare time, I like to read, bake, go on hikes, & watch my daughters play volleyball. One thing you should know about me is I am 100% committed to this. I have an unwavering passion to assist students in the areas of English. My skills include grammar & vocabulary, writing, & reading. I also enjoy helping students write speeches & then assist them in the presentation aspect. I love to proofread & edit work as well.
