About Jazmyn

Hi, my name is Jazmyn. I am an alumna of Xavier University of Louisiana, where I received my BA in Biology. I enjoy caring for children and have 11 years of experience babysitting. I am AHA CPR/First Aid certified and know the Heimlich maneuver for all ages. In the past, I have worked part time as a nanny for a 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl. I enjoyed my work with them and watched them 9 hours a day for four days a week for over a year. Currently, I am working as a long-term special education substitute, focusing on grades 5-7. I am also taking online courses to receive my master's in public health, with plans to one day work as a public health certified nurse midwife. I have been following social distancing and mask guidelines since the beginning of the pandemic and will make sure to press their importance with children. I am fully vaccinated. I have my own transportation, can provide some light cleaning and meal prep services as needed. I am also fluent in Spanish.
