I am a highly experienced home care provider with 35+ years experience in geriatric home care. I worked as a skilled professional as a physical therapist and retired early, but feel that I still have a lot to offer the community with my extensive experience, caring, compassion, and excellent work ethic. I am extremely qualified in following exercise and walking programs and feel comfortable with home equipment, including Walkers , wheelchairs, sliding boards, Hoyer lifts, transferring and stand up frames. I feel comfortable with all diagnoses, with experience in memory care, neurology, orthopedics, and balance. I am also experienced with providing ADL's, meals, and transportation as needed. I also have experience with providing cognitive stimulation and providing activities based on the client current level. I am looking for 4 to 8 hours a week with flexibility. I have lots of experience with navigating our healthcare system and helping clients obtain medically entitled services.
