About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily and I am a certified teacher, having taught in the USA, as well as international schools in the Middle East and Europe. I've loved having children from all over the world in my classrooms, and we'd spend much of our time performing lively science experiments and using creativity to make learning fun, meaningful and memorable! My extensive travel overseas and in the USA has not only allowed me to work with children in a variety of atmospheres but also animals, including time spent working as a zoo educator and animal handler. I enjoy being creative, having compiled some of my most memorable overseas adventures into a whimsical children's poetry book with illustrations! Additionally, I've had training in the performing arts and have stared in lead roles in two main performances in the USA and Europe that have been made into films. I thrive on exploring nature, outdoor pursuits, and being with family and friends.
