About Amelia

Dementia & Alzheimer's caregiver. As a memory care intern at Institute on Aging, I acquired the skills to support cognitive impairment and independence throughout aging. I then transitioned into in-home and private caregiving in memory-care facilities for clients with dementia diagnoses. I graduated with Honors in Psychology from the University of San Francisco, where my directed training was in memory care. Outside of being a memory caregiver, you will find me working on my certification to be a midwife's assistant, caregiving for kids with different abilities, or spending time in Golden Gate Park. With my memory clients, I love to go on long walks around the neighborhood if ability allows, read stories and books, dance to music, wander farmers markets, have conversations on park benches, or make the most of a day indoors! I am open to bringing on weekly clients, and we can build our schedules around each other. I look forward to hearing from you!
