I possess a BS in Chemistry from University of Pittsburgh. Currently attending graduate school part-time in Environmental & Green Chemistry. Looking for a family who is interested in hiring for 20-35 hours a week for in-home instruction to assist with online schooling and other tasks (preparing breakfast, lunch, etc). I am also interested in helping design/executive lesson plans or creating own activities to supplement learning. I have experience primarily in chemistry & math tutoring at high school level. The course opened my eyes and heart to see the beauty in children; with be being practically the only child in the house I never had any responsibility of taking care of any younger children. As a result, I do not regret taking the courses because it allowed me to relate with children 12 months- 12 years old; I had passion being with these children and learning about how to meet their needs. Each day, there were lesson plans we had to construct to engage the children in activities, snack preparation, and outdoor activities were included. Although, it has been 2 years since I took the course, I have done occasional babysitting/nanny working with family friends and neighbors as. I have always loved being around children. I have helped lead 5 camps for elementary school children, including 2 in Peru. I have worked in the nursery at my church and have extensive experience babysitting. I have coached soccer and taught swim lessons for many years now, as well. As a part of the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society, and the Math National Honor Society for my junior and senior year in high school, I gained much tutoring experience, both at the middle and high school levels.
