Nala is a bit more confrontational but needs more caution when approached by strangers. Job Details: We are in need of a reliable and experienced pet sitter for our 2 cats over the Thanksgiving holiday. The ideal candidate would be able to come once in the morning and once in the evening for only 20-30 minutes. Tasks: - Change/clean litter box daily - Feeding a can of wet food morning and night (to each cat) - Assuring there is dry food in bowls after breakfast - Refilling & cleaning water bowl and food bowls daily We are looking for an individual who is experienced with cats and enjoys being around them. They both need to lose weight and one cat will eat the other cats food so it is important you can stay at least 15 minutes per visit to monitor their eating. Alexandria family needs a full-time sitter for 2 dogs. Must love animals! Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. Please be able and comfortable boarding my pet. Must just be the two of them. Sitter has to have a backyard for them to run and play daily.

We are new to Arlington (as of Sept 22, 2023) and have no pet care set up. We could use some tips on good groomers and trainers. 1. When we go out-of-town, we usually try to board the dogs but the cats stay home. They need fed twice a day, litter box cleaned, clean water daily and pet and play with them. 2. Our dogs cannot be left alone when we need to leave for a few hours because they bark. We have never left them home by themselves. We would need someone to come over and stay with them. They could be walked, fed, and played with, depending upon the time of day. They are sweet dogs, very friendly. They will bark at other dogs when on a leash but are good with others when in a dog park. One is 7 years and one is 2 years. 3. It would be great if someone could spend the night from time to time with the dogs and cats.

My wife and I are looking for a regular pet-sitter for 2-4 night stints while we are out of town, as we travel on a somewhat frequent (monthly) basis. We have two friendly-but-energetic foxhounds (3 y/o and 2 y/o) and two cats. The dogs can be left alone for 4-5 hours at a time during the day, but we prefer to have someone here overnight while we're gone. The dogs can be a handful on-leash when other dogs that they do not know are around, so we are looking for someone with experience walking medium-size dogs with occasional leash reactivity issues. Otherwise, the dogs have a fully fenced backyard, and love running around and chasing each other, toys, and whatever animals happen into the yard while they are out. They are typically lazy for much of the day, with spurts of energy before their morning walk and in the evening.
