About Our Family
I am looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and caring individual who can become a consistent part of our family’s supportsystem.
This is not a position where I am looking to hire someone today and leave my child with them tomorrow. Building trust is extremely important to me.
I occasionally travel for pageants, events, and other commitments and would like to establish a relationship with one primary caregiver whom my son and I both know and trust.
Before any overnight or multi-day care begins, I would like to meet with the selected person several times. Once I feel comfortable, I will introduce them to my son. From there, we will gradually transition into short babysitting periods before considering overnight or multi day care.
I am looking for someone who is interested in developing a long-term relationship with our family, rather than someone looking for a one-time babysitting job.
Safety Is My #1 Priority
I want to be completely transparent about this portion of the position. My child’s physical and emotional safety is my highest priority. Our home has security cameras in common areas for household and safety purposes. A caregiver accepting this position should be comfortable working in a home with disclosed security cameras.
I am not interested in micromanaging someone throughout the day. The cameras are simply an additional layer of protection for my child, my pet, my home, and ultimately the caregiver as well.
I would also prepare a fixed rate or not hrly if possible
