As an older sister, aunt of 1, and a career student mentor, I have a passion for nurturing young minds. I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children in my care! I believe in fostering a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow. I'm patient and calm, which is important in catering to individual needs I insist upon open communication and provide updates via text or phone call regularly with parents. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, as maintaining stability is important for development across all stages! With eight years of experience and counting, I'm comfortable caring for up to 5 children of various ages. I have a Bachelors degree and have taken coursework in early child development. I am a licensed contractor for DCPS, so I can also assist in the classroom. When it comes to activities, I enjoy planning activities, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning.
