About Nia

Hi there! My name is Nia and I am currently a Junior studying communications at UNCC. I am offering childcare, tutoring, and house-sitting. I have extensive professional experience. I have worked over 400+ hours in a childcare and learning center, where I helped develop lesson plans for kids 1 and up. I also helped with meals, nap time, and play time for infants 6mos and up in the nursery. (I am also comfortable with newborns.) Aside from this, I have been a counselor for several summer camps in Cumberland County during the summer for school-aged children. Outside of my professional experience, I really enjoy working with kids! I'm into arts and crafts and DIY activities, so I am always ready to do a fun activity. I can also cook, and perform needed household chores, help with bedtime routines, etc. All in all, working with kids just generally brings me joy, it's so special to watch them see the world with such wonder! *I can provide references if necessary!*
