$15 – 25/hr
About who needs care: My 34-year-old daughter is in the end stages of life due to a brain tumor and is currently in a hospice facility. I would like to continue her hospice care at home. She can speak but often is hard to understand.
The target date to begin is Monday June 14.
I would need assistance with bathing and feeding. I am thinking I will need help 4-6 hours daily each weekday and 3-4 hours daily each weekend. Schedule is flexible.
About the care needs: A younger caregiver is preferred since my daughter is 34 but anyone who can relate to her is good. Also patience and compassion (I think this goes without saying) to be able to understand what she's trying to say. Also strength because although she is bedridden she weighs 215# so it may take both of us to turn and reposition her and change her diapers. She will have a Foley.
Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
