Hello! My partner and I work for restaurants, and we have a 5-year-old daughter. I am recently going back to work full-time in the afternoon and evening and need someone who will help us raise a kind, loving and very sweet little girl. We have been in the DMV area for over a decade and enjoy the diversity. Our daughter loves cooking, swimming, playing outside, and being with other kids her age are some of her favorites. Like most 5-year-olds, she does not enjoy sitting still. Our daughter needs additional support regulating her time spent focusing on an activity, as well as patience when listening to her speak. While previously diagnosed with a speech delay, we are happy to report she is an excellent communicator but occasionally gets distracted in the middle of a story. We're ideally looking for someone with their own transportation and ability to take our child to parks, museums and playgrounds this summer and pick her up from school and summer camp. Whomever we choose will also be expected to be able to read books to her in English. Spanish speaker is a bonus, but not required. Yes to parking, and there are several buses that are within a 2-minute walk of our front door. We do have 2 cats. They are very friendly.

We both work mainly from home in our office, although do have meetings in other locations. My husband is an entrepreneur and loves his career. We both love traveling internationally (although not as frequently as we used to, due to young children). We intend to have our children grow up traveling & learning about other cultures. We are a Christian family, and try to hold true to those values! Humble, kind, patient, etc. We have a nonprofit organization that works with underprivileged youth in the US as well as in Africa. We both have been in missions work overseas (I was a missionary for 1. 5 years and have done many short-term trips.) We love concerts, spending the day or night in DC or the mountains (me) or beach (him). My son is almost two and likes reading, playing with cars/trucks/trains, running, and the playground. He learns very quickly & is quite the talker! My daughter is now 8 months, but was born two months early. She needs assistance with applicable milestones (rolling, tummy time, etc.). Reading, singing, & playing games will be important for her. My son needs someone to help teach him new words or actions (sitting at a desk, walking up stairs, etc.) as well as eating new things (he doesn't like to try new things to eat). He will be going to school part-time in August (3 days a week in the morning) & usually has a 2 hr nap in the afternoon. So most of the time will be spent with my daughter. However, we'd love to get him involved with activities & going to the playground each day. We are looking for someone who is patient, kind, likes teaching/educating, understands discipline (firm but gentle, and explains why we don't do things), and has energy for my 2-year-old son (my daughter is very calm though!). Although we want someone fluent in English, we'd love our son to learn another language. We don't have any pets.

Hello! We are looking for an occasional babysitter to help care for our almost 2-year-old. Our son goes to daycare full time, but we need occasional help in the evenings when I travel for work. Our expectation would be to have our sitter come about once a week regardless of travel just so you can maintain a relationship with my son. We are happy to coordinate a schedule that would work for you. We would also love to have someone available for occasional date nights or who potentially has last minute flexibility (i. e. a college student or stay at home parent) to help us if our daycare provider has to close her daycare for illness or an appointment. Most of the time, my husband (and potentially I) would be working from home while you are caring for our son. We have a large home so you would have plenty of space. Our son is the sweetest, funniest little boy - we know you will love him!

We are an adventure-loving Christian family in the Herndon area with a 21mo old boy & a 10 mo old girl. Mom works full-time from home while Dad works onsite at the office. We enjoy playing outside with our dog, reading books together, & dancing around the house like no one is watching. We would love to find a live-out nanny who can stay with us long-term. We would greatly value someone with experience as a nanny, who will support us in our faith-based/gentle parenting style. I am a very hands-on mom & am looking for someone who is comfortable with me being around for the majority of the day & can care for the children when I get pulled into work meetings. We need babysitter/housekeeper for our family in McLean. And we're looking now! Our children are elementary school aged and very independent. So our childcare needs are mainly to help drive them to after school activities. The rest of the time we need your help with getting dinner on the table, light housekeeping, errands. Please be comfortable with pets. We are a friendly, easy going family, and our kids are very easy to care for as well. I am a first time mom due July 18th. My husband is a full time remote worker while I work from home 2-3 days a week. Were looking for someone who can help us after my maternity leave in October to help us at home with the baby while we work. Seeking full-time nanny for our three children in McLean, VA. The position is available to start immediately, and would last until Labor Day (or possibly longer if school does not resume in the fall). We are flexible in terms of days and hours, but would prefer someone who could come 4-5 days a week from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We have one 4-year-old son and twin 2-year-old girls. We are looking for someone who is energetic and can come up with fun/interesting activities to keep them entertained and active, but who also has a calming nature and can bring structure and routine to their daily lives. The ideal candidate would also be willing to do light housework (dishes, basic tidying, children's laundry) and meal preparation if possible.
