Babysitter/Child Caregiver Available

Hello, my name is Lauren and I am a college student at George Mason University. I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area, and I have had plenty of experience babysitting and nannying. I babysat for the same family from 7th grade until college. I have experience with physical impairments, such as low vision, type I diabetes, and epilepsy. Additionally, I am especially experienced with infants under 1 year. I watched an infant from her birth until she was 3. 5 years old. I also had a regular nanny position last semester caring for a baby from 3-6 months old. I also have multiple nieces whom I have cared for since their births as well, so I'd welcome the opportunity to care for a child of any age! I also was a Sunday school teacher at my church during my senior year of high school for a class of 4th graders. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about me or my experience. I hope to get the chance to meet you and your children!

Lauren is terrific! Our daughters love & ask for Lauren to babysit!! She is very engaging with children. We have three young children (ages 4, 3, and an infant). Her childcare experience is transparent. She was quite capable and comfortable handling multiple young children and excellent with infant/baby care. She has a genuinely sweet and caring personality. She was punctual, reliable and exemplifies a responsible and trustworthy person. It is a wonderful peace of mind to know our children and baby were is good hands.

Warm, Loving, Experienced Nanny, Looking For A Family To Join A Nanny Share In Springfield, VA

Avg response < 22 hrs
Being with children is pure joy to me. I love watching them change and grow, sharing their world with them, and experiencing the special bond that develops as you get to know them. I have 4+ years of experience as a nanny. I have lots of empathy and patience; I am very loving and very sensitive to little ones' needs. I am responsible, easy going, active, and energetic. My goal as a nanny is to create a warm, loving, supportive environment while helping the children in my care with their developmental needs, and to have as much fun as is humanly possible while doing so! My major qualifications are as follows: - Member of the International Nanny Association. - Certified in First Aid/CPR. - Certified in Home Daycare - Courses completed: Early Childhood Development, Music and Movement, Process Art for Children, Early Literacy. I am available starting February 3, 2020. I would love to talk with you about the possibilities of a nanny share with a lovely family in Springfield, VA.

I have tried starting this review for the longest time, and am having a difficult time trying to put into words what Diane means to our family. To say she is amazing is an understatement; to call her a nanny doesn't come close to describing her role. Diane was employed with us in a nanny share from the time my daughter was 10-weeks-old until she was 3 1/2. She cared for my daughter as a second mother, sent pictures to me every single day, kept a daily log for both children, and sent quarterly developmental reports articulating how both children were progressing physically and cognitively. In addition, she would pass along helpful parenting articles on topics such as establishing healthy eating habits, to positive discipline. Saying farewell to Diane was extremely difficult. I made the decision to become a stay at home mother after the birth of my second child, and my family moved out of the DC Metro area. However, Diane remains a constant part of this family, as she will forever!
