The LEGO® Minecraft Class is an exciting and educational experience into the world of stop-motion animation production. Using LEGO® building sets based off of the Minecraft theme, students will stage their own scenes from a storyboard and take photos of the scene to tell a story. Then they will edit the images in the Frames 6 animation software where they will add effects, sound and more. Some of the features of the class include: Working in teams to collaborate and create animation projects for each day.A new and unique Minecraft theme for each day, including castle, cave and End worlds.Use of illustrated storyboards to plan out the narrative of the project Photography of the LEGO® sets in action to create slides for stop-motion animation Computer animation software to edit images using green screen, effects and sound Finished projects will be emailed to the parents end of the 6 weeks session. This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session & seasonal, so sign-up for all sessions.

Pinnacle's School Year break camps offer a fun & educational outlet for your budding scientists/naturalists (grades 1-6). With Spring comes new flowers, vibrant colors, and fun new opportunities to get outside and enjoy nature's colorful awakening. As the days begin to get longer and warmer, we will spend our Spring Break camp outside exploring our garden, harvesting produce for "spring" rolls, and creating colorful projects to welcome the warmth back into our lives. Our camps allow kids to continue learning during the days off from school, while having fun, exploring, and designing projects with our dedicated teachers. With lots of time outdoors and hands-on experiments, your children will forget that they're learning.

Join us for a morning of messy, creative fun! Our Toddler Messy Art Studio offers little artists the freedom to explore open-ended art, sensory materials, and hands-on activities at their own pace. Designed especially for toddlers and young children, each session encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence through process-focused art and child-led exploration. Our instructors are there to introduce materials, offer gentle guidance, and support each child’s creative journey. Come for as long as it works for you! Studio hours are 9:30–11:30 AM, and families can stay for the full two hours or drop in for just an hour. Don't worry about a sitter! Give yourself a parents' night off and send your child to our Kids' Night Out! Pizza party dinner will be included, as well as multiple arts and crafts, and a big, instructor-led project! $40 for the first child and $35 for additional siblings. In this fun and hands-on camp, young learners will explore the exciting world of 3D design and early engineering. Through creative building activities, students will discover 2D and 3D shapes, size and scale, materials, art, and simple prototyping. They will draw, build, and create using a variety of child-friendly materials while developing spatial reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Financing the Future is a six-week financial literacy program designed for students in grades 6–8. Through interactive lessons, real-life examples, team challenges, and hands-on activities, students learn how to make smart decisions about money and build financial skills they can use in everyday life. Each week focuses on an important area of financial literacy: Week 1: Smart Saving Students learn why saving matters, how to set savings goals, and how to create a realistic savings plan. Week 2: Smart Budgeting Students learn how to create a budget, understand income and expenses, and plan where their money goes before they spend it. Week 3: Smart Spending Students explore needs vs. wants, comparison shopping, unit prices, sales tax, impulse buying, marketing, subscriptions, and the true cost of purchases. Week 4: Smart Investing Students are introduced to investing, compound interest, risk and return, diversification, stocks, bonds, and index funds through activities using pretend money. Week 5: Smart Economics Students learn how supply and demand affect prices, why money exists, how trade and barter work, and how inflation affects the value of money. Week 6: Smart Giving Students explore taxes, charitable giving, volunteering, causes, and impact. They finish by bringing what they learned throughout the program together into their own Money Plan.
