I've been performing for as long as I can remember and I started jazz my second year and have been rocking solos ever since. I'm originally from Lockport, NY, a small suburban town near Buffalo. I moved to Miami recently to pursue more opportunity in Music and, eventually, teaching. I've been playing guitar for 12 years now, and play every single day. To me, there is no greater pastime. Presently, I teach full-time with MDCPS, elementary school music! That keeps me busy during the day. But after school hours, I teach my guitar lessons. Formal Education: I attended Brown University for 4 years, where I received a bachelor's of arts in Music. That included music theory, classical and jazz training, and recording technologies. Private Education: I took guitar lessons at the Lockport Music Center for 5 years. My former instructor, Shawn Duscherer, is consistently rated one of the Buffalo area's top musicians and guitar players.
