Loran spent his high school years developing speed and timing behind the drumset. After graduating he joined the Royal Bahamas Police Force where he became a member of the band division. While in the band he continued to develop his music reading skills and focused on becoming more fundamentally sound. During this time he also developed his jazz reading and playing skills. Loran teaches drums to urban young people of the Bahamas. He was a percussion instructor at the urban renewal band. Loran has played for churches, jazz band, concert band and Willis and the Illest reggae Band. He is a skillful, dependable and talented musician.
