Sew it All Sewing Camp at The Sewing Room Join us for this week of Sewing fun. Each child will complete at least one project by end of the week. Students choose what to work on - Fashion, Doll Clothes, Accessories, Tote bags, stuffed animals, Dolls - You name it! Students must purchase a project from THE SEWING ROOM (not included in the price of the camp). Come by the shop and pick something out prior to camp, or on the first day. Students usually complete an average of 2 projects but have been known to make more. In prepping for this camp, we suggest purchasing at least 2 projects in advance. The B.E.S.T. Little Ballers Association (LBA) is a learn and play recreation basketball league for ages 4-6 in 3v3 format for maximum playing time. Players will enroll in a weekly class where they will learn and practice their skills as a group! Our B.E.S.T. Coaches will introduce the game of Basketball to your player by teaching the fundamentals of the sport using the BEST Basketball Curriculum. Over the course of the league, your player will learn how to dribble, shoot, pass, and compete as a team. Those skills will translate to the court during our Coach led game days twice a season. Games will be packed full of fun and energy with pro-style player announcements before the game and in-game announcers. All while B.E.S.T. coaches guide and ref the game for maximum fun and learning. Games consist of 5-minute running quarters and best of all you do not have to commit to any other days as games will be during normal practice times. Jerseys will be supplied on game days, and all games will be streamed live on our social media channels for all those family members who cannot attend in-person. This engaging Math Workshop Session is designed for 5th and 6th graders to develop their skills in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions and decimals. Through hands-on activities and real-world applications, we’ll take the mystery out of fractions and decimals and discover how they work in everyday life. What We’ll Explore: Word Problems: Put your fraction and decimal skills to the test! We’ll tackle a variety of word problems that involve all four operations with fractions and decimals, helping you see how they are used in everyday situations. Foundations: We’ll start by building a solid understanding of what fractions represent, including mixed numbers and improper fractions as well as decimals. We’ll use visual models like fraction bars and circles, decimal grids, and number line models to explore equivalent fractions and decimals and compare their values. Adding and Subtracting: Get ready to add and subtract fractions with both like and unlike denominators as well as decimals! We’ll learn how to find common denominators and use visual aids to help us understand the process. We’ll also explore real-world scenarios where adding and subtracting fractions and decimals is essential. Multiplying: We’ll make multiplying fractions and decimals a breeze! Through hands-on activities, we’ll discover how to multiply fractions, decimals, and mixed numbers, and see how it relates to finding parts of a whole. Camp runs Monday-Friday, July 14 - July 25, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Early drop-off is available from 7:30-8:15am; Late pick-up is available until 5:30pm. Please see the options for pricing. No previous experience is necessary. This camp is for campers that will be entering grades 1, 2, and 3 in the 2025 - 2026 school year (ages 6-9). Assessments (all campers must attend) will be held on the first day of camp. There will be a performance with limited seating the weekend of July 26 / July 27 (exact time / date TBD). Each young performer will receive 6 complimentary tickets in order to invite parents, family, or friends to see their show. Tickets are not available for purchase to the general public, and no additional tickets can be requested. Our mission is to guide children in building a strong foundation of artistic skills and understanding. By exploring tools and materials, kids develop the confidence, curiosity, and creativity needed to bring their ideas to life. Through the use of resourced and recycled materials, we encourage sustainable practices and make art accessible, encouraging children to create wherever they are.

Babies are just getting comfortable being out of the house and beginning to explore! You’ll learn a variety of ways to play with your newest little bundle of joy. Non-mobile babies will be exposed to sensory play, songs, and the beginnings of social play. Meet like-minded parents while our instructor leads you through nurturing exercises and activities that stimulate your baby’s brain development. We will end each class with a soft session of bubbles and parachute time.

Travel through time with us as we explore and recreate some of the Primitive Projectiles of our ancient ancestors. From throwing rocks & spears, to slings & atlatls, tomahawks & archery, campers will discover how people around the world have innovated projectiles to harvest small and large game for clothing, food, tools and more. Campers will need a keen eye, as we search for materials and game trails. In addition, we’ll talk about how far human innovation has come and what it means to ensure having a sustainable resource. After spending lots of time on target practice, we’ll also share stories, play games, and splash around in the water. If it can be thrown, launched, chucked or tossed, we’ll do it this week during Primitive Projectiles camp!

We’ll teach basic fundamentals of a wide variety of sports and then assist and supervise as our campers compete in an organized and safe setting!! The house will be rocking with music playing throughout the day and a level of energy that will only be outdone by the amount of FUN being had!! Best of all, the unpredictable weather will never be a factor because we have an awesome indoor space, covered in state-of-the-art field turf!!

3-day skill development camp, teaching players and coaches the same skills and strategies that have been used with pro players like Joe Johnson, Raja Bell, Bruce Bowen, Carlos Arroyo, and dozens of other NBA and European players. You will learn the same critical and universal skills that have been taught to NBA players. These fundamental skills are universal for all levels. They will help you no matter what defense or offense you use. That's the great thing about fundamentals.

UNEXPECTED ANIMALS Join us for a morning of art that will indulge the imagination and bring out your creativity!
