    In this inclusive class, the students will begin learning the basics of musical theater. The class will strengthen their creativity with theater based activities and games. They will practice things like auditioning, learning lines, projecting on stage, creating a character, and performing a solo. They will apply these lessons by rehearsing musical theater pieces together. At the end of the session, the students will perform a small presentation of the pieces they’ve worked on throughout the class! The price for this class is $270 per student (includes non-refundable $25 admin fee and non-refundable online processing fee). This price includes 11 after school classes. The tuition does not include additional costume fees or reserved ticket fees. Please keep in mind that our classes are very limited in size, and so if you choose to cancel your registration, you may be hindering us from filling that spot. I have taught lessons in home for 2 years, however I do not have the space to do that anymore. I also taught at Aria School of Rock in Deer Park, TX for 3 years, however due to budget cuts we were forced to close down. I worked as a technician with the marching drumline at Carmel High School in Carmel, IN (3-time BOA Grand National Champions) from 2003-2004. Formal Education: 4 years studying music at Ball State University, 4 years at Carmel High School under the direction of Mike McIntosh and Richard Saucedo Private Education: I have studied marching percussion under Yamaha artist Mike McIntosh, classical percussion under Dr. Erwin Mueller, and drum set under Benjamin Sitnikoff (Studio drummer in Nashville, worked with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and many others) Performing Experience: I performed with my high school symphony orchestra (Carmel) at Carnegie Hall in January 2003. I have performed all over the state of Texas in the last couple of years with my bands Rainchild (2012 Texas Buzz Rock Band of the Year Award Winners) and Sundown Audio. Although I currently am only performing on drum set in rock bands, I love playing and learning and playing classical (orchestral) percussion, jazz and all other percussion. Experience Teaching: 4 years teaching private lessons (mostly drum set) to students ranging from 5 years-40 years old, with all different skill levels. Have also taught some classical and marching percussion, with about 1 year experience in each.
