Enjoy the little things in life with your little ones during our Paint with a Pal program. This program is perfect for all ages! Three days a week we open our studio to the public for children and their important adult to spend special time together. Our instructors provide support and instruction throughout several projects every time using countless materials, both conventional and not (spoiler alert: you can do a lot with shaving cream!). Use our space to explore your children’s interests in a natural, creative, and encouraging setting!

During Crafternoons, the studio offers a stimulating, imaginative and engaging social space where children will work together through language, play, and, of course, art, at their individual comfort level. Our attentive staff is aware of each child’s needs and interests so that they can encourage self-expression, confidence, and self-awareness, Crafternoon projects promote development on both a verbal and nonverbal level through group dialogue, story time, and narrative play, as well as sensory and multimedia art projects. So, feel free to hang around, or run some errands, meet a friend, or just get some much needed “me” time, while your child builds relationships in a fun and healthy learning environment. Prices vary depending on length of drop off.

When school is out of session, send your child to Rachel’s Young at Art Studio for a morning of art-filled fun! Camp includes arts and crafts, story time, dramatic play, sensory activities, and lots and lots of fun! Each child will come home with a bag full of art relating to the day's theme. There will be plenty of opportunities to get messy during camp days!

Don't worry about a sitter! Give yourself a parents' night off and send your child to our Kids' Night Out! Pizza party dinner will be included, as well as multiple arts and crafts, and a big, instructor-led project! $40 for the first child and $35 for additional siblings. Each child will go home with a full bag of art that they create.

Play is nature's way of getting kids to do the work of growing up. Sensory play includes any activity that stimulates your young child's senses: touch, smell, taste, sight, and hearing. Spending time stimulating their senses helps children develop cognitively, linguistically, socially and emotionally, physically and creatively. Our Simply Sensory program emphasizes process-oriented, explorative art making designed to excite the imagination, curiosity and creativity. This class provides your child with hands-on opportunities to get messy and explore art materials in a safe environment...outside of your home! Come paint with cars, fingers, toes, and more! Explore slime, sound containers, color windows, glue, dough, magnets, flowers, and more! In each class, there is a varied selection of sensory-rich art related projects and activities. When you bring your child to our Simply Sensory program, you are providing him or her with the messy tools for discovery. Life is messy after all!

All children are artistic! Our program simply presents them with the tools to develop visual perception in a fun and energetic way! Watch your child benefit from an early exposure to art and movement. While you are building your relationship with your children, they are unknowingly improving their motor skills, developing their language, and strengthening their problem solving and critical thinking skills. As they discover new media, like clay and paint, for the first time, they are gaining awareness of the world around them, making their own inventive decisions, and gaining a sense of autonomy.

You'd be hard pressed to find anything a child loves more than glitter. And nothing a parent likes to have in the house less. That's what we're here for! Come to Rachel's Young At Art Studio to get that sparkle fix in. During this hour long program, we only put out crafts full of glitz and glamor. We have glitter paint, glitter glue, you name it! We will make glitter slime. We will even do some art experiments with prisms to see how they gleam in the light. Rainbows and glitter go hand in hand, don't they?

The benefits of construction based activities are astounding for young children. When children are building, they are improving their motor skills and hand-eye coordination, acquiring spatial skills, developing a capacity for creative and divergent thinking, not to mention working on their social and language skills. Children take an immense pride in their creations and hate to clean them up. Well, here, they don't have to! During the Little Builders program, children will have the opportunity to build a new art project each week using different materials, such as wood or clay, that they get to take home with them!

From tiny details to big discoveries, this week is all about exploring the beauty of the natural world through art. Campers will create projects inspired by plants, landscapes, and everyday wonders found outdoors. Using a mix of natural materials and creative techniques, young artists will slow down, observe closely, and turn what they notice into thoughtful, hands-on art.

Lights, camera… imagination! During Movie Magic week, campers will explore the creative world behind the scenes of filmmaking. From designing sets and props to creating posters and storyboards, young artists will bring stories to life through art and movement. The week will culminate in a fun, low-pressure performance where campers showcase their creations and ideas on our very own “studio stage.”

Emojis are a modern language, and this week we’re turning them into art! Campers will explore facial expressions, feelings, symbols, and visual storytelling through bold colors and playful design. From creating custom emojis to building expressive art projects, Emoji Lab is a creative deep dive into how art helps us communicate without words.
