How does it work? Let’s find out! Mini Makers is a hands-on lab designed for children who love to build and deconstruct. We provide a 'tinker-friendly' environment where students use diverse materials to engineer their own inventions. From taking apart old gadgets to building new masterpieces, our creators learn through doing. Join us for a day where play is the engine of discovery!

Energy is everywhere, but how does it actually work? Join us for an exploration of all things kinetics! This hands-on camp pulls back the curtain on the various forms of energy that power our lives. Students will investigate the 'hidden motion' of the universe, learning how the movement of tiny electrons, atoms, and molecules creates the physical world we see. Through creative engineering challenges and scientific experiments, your young scientist will master the principles of kinetic energy from the microscopic level to the massive.

How do scientists pull off their most epic feats? By using their greatest tool: curiosity! Our students will explore groundbreaking studies to see how famous scientists changed the world—and learn how to launch their own 'out-of-this-world' ideas into orbit. Note: Aftercare runs until 5:30 PM on 12/28–12/30, and until 4:00 PM on 12/31.

This camp is on all things kinetics. Through fun games, challenges and creations, come explore the various forms of energy and the meaning of electrons, atoms, molecules, substances, and objects as it relates to kinetic energy!

Engineering is all about finding out how things are built and why, and solving problems. Students will explore with tinkering and creating using a variety of materials. They will be empowered to take apart, engineer, and build, to construct an understanding of how things are made.

Science offers a unique lens through which we can understand the world around us. Each field has its own methods and perspectives, but they all contribute to a greater understanding of our universe. From Chemistry to Engineering, students will discover that there are many ways to explore the world through different kinds of science. Exploring these fields can spark curiosity and innovation, making science an exciting adventure!

Puppet shows are back! Join us twice a month on Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals small and large - Sneaky Pete, Mama Mavis, Chef Meowzers, Sadie Blue Boots, Grandfather Time, and an ever growing crew of puppet friends! We'll even get to introduce some of our original musicals (that debuted at Filoli this summer!) to the studio! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.
