Sharks Swim Camp combines professional swim instruction with all the fun of traditional summer camp, creating the perfect blend of skill-building and adventure for children entering grades 2-5. Mornings begin with check-in, warm-up activities, and a healthy snack before we head to Highlands Rec. Center for our swim program. Two days per week campers are transported to Laurelwood Park to explore and have lunch before swim lessons. Campers receive age-appropriate swim lessons from qualified instructors, followed by supervised recreational swim time—all under the watchful eyes of certified lifeguards. What Makes Dolphins Swim Camp Special Each day at Dolphins Swim Camp is thoughtfully designed to build water confidence while creating lasting summer memories. Mornings begin with check-in, warm-up activities, and a healthy snack before we head to Carlmont High School Pool for swim instruction Monday through Thursday.. Campers receive age-appropriate swim lessons from qualified instructors, followed by supervised recreational swim time, all under the watchful eyes of certified lifeguards. Two days per week or more, campers are transported to the Belmont Library Playground to explore, play, and enjoy lunch before returning for swim lessons. Fridays do not include swim lessons. Instead, Dolphin campers join Camp Footsteps Junior Explorers for their weekly special event. On Friday afternoons, campers return to the pool for recreational swim time. Welcome to Racquets & Swim New this summer we are expanding racquet sports to include pickle ball, badminton, and table tennis. Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont, and support from the USTA NorCal, will again offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program. This program combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports in a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem, and social skills. All participants receive an H.I.T.S. t-shirt, wristband, ball, certificate, players/parents manual and more!!!

Children will learn about iconic places like the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Pier 39, and the cable cars through crafts, games, and storytelling. The highlight will be our field trip adventure, where campers can experience the city’s magic up close. Special Event: Mini City Festival We’ll transform camp into a mini San Francisco! Campers will visit “stations” representing iconic SF landmarks—Golden Gate Bridge craft station, Chinatown lanterns, and a cable-car photo booth. The festival will include “City Treats” for snack and a scavenger hunt around camp.
