A multi-disciplinary class designed to introduce your child to engineering, design, art, and math. This S.T.E.A.M. inspired class is great for the young maker and thinker. It takes an active approach to school readiness and maintains our whole-child learning philosophy.

We boogie down with our babies, get up and dance, give them baby massages, sing them songs, and explore new physical challenges every week through teacher-led activities on the equipment. Explore tummy time from a new perspective or on a new texture, slide down slides on soft lambskins, or take a ride in a gentle swing! Play as a group and socialize with others! Sing songs, learn a routine, and PLAY!

You’ll learn a variety of ways to play with your newest little bundle of joy. Non-mobile babies are exposed to sensory play, songs, and the beginnings of social play. Meet like-minded parents while our expert teachers lead you through nurturing exercises and activities that stimulate your baby’s brain development. The first stepping stone to sparking a love of learning!

Give your little one a safe space to practice their growing skills! Explore diverse physical movements like climbing, crawling, and balancing to support healthy muscle and bone development, while also practicing social skills and memory building through sing-alongs and group-play.

It’s all about opposites! Loud and quiet, fast and slow, up and down! Contrasting ‘themes’ means your child is learning better ways to communicate. Explore the different equipment pieces each week to build problem solving, navigating skills, and confidence.

After your 45-minute parent/child play class, add on this optional gentle separation time where children are engaged by expert teachers in social activities and brain games like puzzles, playdough, and story time. Class ends with celebration and the return of the adults, reminding children that adults always come back!

Our play floor comes to life with trips to the grocery store, eating pizza, finding animals, and even bugs! We’ll use creativity and imagination in all activities. Throw a pretend party, imagine a wild trip to outer space, or pretend to be an ant in a bug’s world...we’ll transform our playscape into a whole new world!

***Enjoy the fun of Open Gym + we open our Art Studio for children to explore too! Sculpting, painting, collaging and sensory play! Play and create in the studio + enjoy free play on the playfloor. Children are given free range to explore the set-ups, with their adults within a hug’s reach. It's a great way to practice the skills your child learns in class. You will check-in 30 minutes before the time of departure. 15 minutes before departure we will escort you down to the boat. We will cruise for 2.5-3 hours looking for whales, dolphins, sea lions, and other life. If the weather doesn't permit leaving the bay, then we will spend most of our time cruising around Mission Bay enjoying being on the water.

Join Murder n’ Mayhem for a Historical True Crime Tour of the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. You will walk through several eras in time as you explore interesting stories of true crime. You will also learn the darker history of the Gaslamp Quarter, the area formerly known as the Stingaree. You will visit a historic hotel where a ghost is said to STILL haunt his room. Then you will travel in time to the roaring 1920’s. Next you will move forward a little over 10 years to become familiar with the 3rd victim of a San Diego Serial Killer. And last, we will share the most horrific crime to take place in downtown San Diego. * Please note due to the graphic nature of the murder cases we advise extreme caution for children under 13. This 1.1-mile, 1.5-hours walking tour of Hillcrest covers San Diego’s LGBTQ+ history with stories of some of its earliest gay bars, the hate crimes plaque, Harvey Milk Street, the Center, the Rainbow Flag and much more. The tour covers how and why the migration of gay bars from downtown began, how San Diego and Hillcrest attracted a large LGBTQ population, and how even the gay bars were once “closeted.” ** Please note this is a point to point tour.
