I have been playing the guitar for about nine to ten years and have been with many great guitar teachers who have helped me accomplish many goals in music. My most recent work has been utilizing and improving my knowledge of music theory so i can connect with many musicians on a different level. Music is my life and I have a passion to teach others what I know on the guitar and on music theory. I am still currently a student who is learning many things about music and I want to share my knowledge with others so they can succeed in music whether if it is for fun or for their career. Music is a learning experience and I am more than happy to share these experiences with anybody who has a passion for music. * Formal Education: I graduated from Los Alamitos High School year 2010 and am currently in my second semester at Orange Coast College. By junior high she was accompanying her church youth group, and by ninth grade she was the organist at her church, as well as the pianist for her high school choir. Also in high school, Jayme began teaching piano lessons to elementary school students through the ROP program at her school. She is currently completing her bachelor's degree in classical piano performance. When she is not pursuing her own piano studies, she is tutoring students in piano and theory, and teaching private piano lessons. * Formal Education: Private piano lessons from age 5 and two years private piano lessons in college. I am currently enrolled in the applied music program at Cypress College. Private Education: Private piano lessons from age 5 to present. Performing Experience: Ibegan performing classically at the age of 7. I performed two annual recitals from age 5. I have experience accompanying choirs, soloists, and church congregations. I perform every semester at Cypress College. Experience Teaching: I taught private piano lessons beginning in high school with the ROP program. I have experience tutoring music students in piano and theory and I teach private lessons to local children.
