After picking up his first guitar, he realized that he wanted to take his passion in music to the next level and absorb as much music as possible. He formed a rock band with two of his close friends and finally got the experience of what it was like to play in a band. This caused him to make the decision to study music while going to college since he truly wanted to do something he enjoyed. So, he enrolled in the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music of California State University Long Beach where he majored in a Jazz Performance Guitar degree.
