In this 8-week ceramics class, young artists will dive into the exciting world of clay! Over the course of 1.5 hours each week, students will learn the full ceramic process, from shaping their own creations to understanding how firing and glazing bring their work to life. Throughout the course, artists will explore a mix of hand-building techniques such as coiling, slab building, and pinch pots, as well as beginning to learn pottery wheel skills; all while letting their creativity run wild. By the end of the class, students will not only have a collection of unique, personalized pieces but also a deeper knowledge of the craft, building a strong foundation to continue developing their ceramic skills in future classes. The class is designed for all skill levels, so whether it’s your child’s first time working with clay or they’ve already joined in classes with us, there’s always plenty more to learn and create. The realm of ceramics offers endless possibilities! Details: 1.5 hours per week, for 8 weeks All materials (clay, tools, and supplies) are included in the registration fee Please note: Make-up classes and prorated fees are not available. Calling all car lovers out there! During this session, children will build a new kind of car each week and learn the concepts surrounding it. For example one week might focus on a power car where children try different gear combinations and another week might focus on building a car with sails and learn all about wind resistance and its effect on speed. CITs operate alongside camp counselors under the guidance of a trained coach, learning leadership skills and playing a variety of sports and games. CITs are technically campers, participating fully in camp activities while gaining leadership experience. The program is $30/day with limited spots available each week, requiring a full-session commitment. What to Bring: Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! Refill stations are available on-site. Shoes & Clothing: Comfortable athletic shoes and black athletic shorts or pants are required. Each CIT will receive a camp shirt to wear for the week. Pinnacle's School Year break camps offer a fun & educational outlet for your budding scientists/naturalists (grades 1-6). Our camps allow kids to continue learning during the days off from school, while having fun, exploring, and designing projects with our dedicated teachers. With lots of time outdoors and hands-on experiments, your children will forget that they're learning. During Winter Break, campers will help us celebrate the Winter Solstice and the promise of more light and warmth in the coming days. They will have plenty of opportunities to play both indoors and outdoors. Students will learn some basic Winter Survival Skills, including fire making, camp fire cooking, insulation, and shelter making.

Experience music from all around the world-- music from both past and present, near and far! From The Beatles to Bach! In Music 3, children will be able to play musical patterns like clapping, patting, tapping or stomping to a beat. Their movements are coordinated and purposeful as we practice matching lyrics to choreographed movements and explore instrumental and improvisational play. This is a drop-off class.
