Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. It builds on foundational techniques while offering more opportunities for independent decision-making. Prior completion of Fine Art Fundamentals isn’t required, but familiarity with basic art concepts is recommended. All students new to Expanded Fundamentals will receive a notification to sign up for a one-time, prerequisite Online Form Class, which must be completed by the third week. This class teaches students about form, values and composition. If your child has already completed this class as part of Fine Art Fundamentals, they do not need to take it again.
