The mission of Oglethorpe Children's Academy (OCA) is to be the Standard of Excellence for early care and learning in the greater Oglethorpe community. OCA is committed to a clean, safe, and loving environment designed to facilitate learning through age-appropriate educational and play activities. OCA promises truth, transparency, and partnership with parents to support the establishment of early skills necessary for their child's successful lifetime. OCA is open year-around, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., servicing families with children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade after school/teacher and school holidays/summer camps. OCA is proud to be nationally accredited through NECPA and operates under a combination of the best of Pinnacle and Creative Curriculum. Our two outstanding lottery funded Pre-K classrooms are limited to 22 students each and are filled on a first-come/first-served basis with priority being given to current OCA enrollees. OCA's staff are highly qualified with certificates, trainings, experience, or degrees in early childhood education and early care and learning best practices.
