Student learning is the chief priority of our school, and all decisions are made from the perspective of what is best for the students.
Schools need to function as a learning organization and promote opportunities for teachers, administrators, parents and the community to work together to advance the school's mission.
Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.
Assessment driven instruction should provide challenging expectations that will increase individual student performance.
Students need to not only demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills but also need to be actively involved in solving problems and producing quality work in meaningful contexts.
A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.
Cultural diversity can increase students' understanding of different peoples and cultures.
