I have raised 2 sons, now helping care for 3 grand kids ages 3-8 as a grandparent for 8 years, and nanny for a non-related family for 9 months for 1 boy, age 10 and 1 girl, age 14, as well as nanny for a single lady's daughter, age 9, for 1 year as needed. I'm experienced at helping with homework, take to after school activities, play board games, take them to playgrounds & play outside their homes. I'm a clean cut, caring "father figure", dependable & trustworthy with traditional Christian values. I am open minded, outgoing and am a non-smoker. I drive a 2017 SUV & love pets. I offer maturity, responsibility, life experiences & general knowledge and am a very caring, loving person. I'm fully capable of helping with light housework, meal prep, errands and also help with plants ( as I've 10 years experience at a Lowe's Garden Center ). I fully realize that I'm in a predominately female field, so, if you'll consider "thinking out of the box" ! CPR certification scheduled.

I'm the father of a little girl that Paul has helped care for about a year. He's a true gentleman; thoughtful, respectful and kind to my daughter. She and he have connected in a positive manner and she loves spending time with him whenever we leave her with him. He's detail oriented, punctual, responsible, very conscientious and makes our lives easier. He's actively involved with her whether inside doing homework/games/etc. or outdoors playing in the yard and I trust him implicitly when she's with him at home or in the car. I'd highly recommend Paul as a caregiver and/or errand runner as well as light duty housework !!

How may I help your mother live life to its fullest? I am a highly qualified, reliable, caregiver who has been passionately serving seniors for over 25 years. As a seasoned in-home elder care provider, my goal is to create a healthy, happy, safe home that is brimming with love, encouragement, attention, organization and life. Assisting seniors, helping them live as independently as possible, for as long as possible, within the comfort and familiarity of their home, is my heart's desire. A registered Qualified Medications Provider, I completed the NC CNA training, did my clinical rotations at a Specialty Hospital, am CPR/First Aid Certified, have had a recent TB Test and flu shot and have a great deal of experience working with Hospice. Live-in, hands-on experience includes, but is not limited to: multiple kinds of cancers, diabetes, dementia and Alzheimer's, COPD/breathing and lung-related, stroke/ TIA's, bowel & bladder issues (IBS, toileting, catheters, incontinence, impactions, UTI's), macular degeneration, mobility and balancing issues, sight & hearing impaired, blood pressure, heart conditions, surgeries and convalescence, and clients who are 24/7 oxygen dependent and totally bed-bound. Lovingly and compassionately, I provide companionship, home health care, medication management, and full personal/hygiene-related care, as well as total personal assistant and home helper services; tasty meal preparation, light housekeeping, home organization, laundry, grocery shopping, errands, toileting, exercises, mobility assistance, maintaining daily logs, accompanying to appointments and meetings, scheduling calendars, transportation, interacting with medical staff, taking care of pets, etc. In short, anything and everything it takes to ensure peace of mind and a healthy, active environment for my client and her family. Availability: Days, nights, weekends, emergencies and holidays. (Prefer full-time or live-in, long- term assignments and am available to travel out-of-state). Rates: Rates are dependent upon your unique needs and level of care required. Discounted rates for 24-hour, overnight, and live-in care (8-hour minimum, please). I have sterling, verifiable references, an excellent driving record, a reliable Subaru, USAA Insurance, am energetic and in excellent health. I will pass every background and credit check with flying colors! Most importantly, I have a heart to serve!

Mitch was a wonderful caregiver! Even though she was hired to take care of my mom who was rehabbing after a bad fall she was also very good with my dad who has dementia. Despite it being a "difficult" job for her (not because of skill level, more due to difficult family dynamics and personalities) she was always professional, cheerful and helpful. She communicated well with family members and was very flexible with her hours and duties. I would definitely hire her again!
