Forestdale Friends Preschool

I ve dedicated my life to the education of children and received a degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in early education from Johnston State College in 1987. I ve been Massachusetts State certified since 1991, and I ve worked for severaldifferent preschools throughout my career and even received my Montessori Teaching Degree in 2006. In September 2007, I opened Forestdale Friends Preschool, a Massachusetts licensed and insured school, which I run out of my house. This opportunity has allowed me to continue my love for working with and educating children, and to stay home with my children as well. I wanted a dedicated room for the school, so I hired a contractor to renovate our garage into a spacious, beautiful school room with cathedral ceiling, over-sized skylights, and lots of sunshine. During the school year, I run a theme-based academic program in which we participate in circle, art, outside time, field trips, and more.
