I have a BS from Tulane with a double major focusing on psychology, language, and cognition, and I am working on an MS in mental health and rehabilitation counseling. The scope of my work entails assisting allied health professionals, reinforcing therapeutic goals in fluid daily scenarios, running a caregiving team, mobility assistance, companionship, advocacy, education, hygiene, and transportation. Aside from attendance and caregiving, I've also worked as an ABA therapist and interned in a pediatric rehab clinic. Personally, I have a beloved family member with a debilitating neuropsychological disorder, and I cared for my mom who had ALS. These experiences have shown me firsthand how illness and injury can affect oneself and one's family in both apparent and nuanced ways.
