Sensitive To Those With Learning Disabilities
I will be entering my final semester of university in the fall. Prior to that I attended a prep school in Canada and through a lot of hard work achieved my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. I've always been able to maintain excellent grades despite the fact that I have a learning disability. I think this is why I'm keen to work with those who struggle or who feel different because their disability is hidden. I love to read, draw, paint and the outdoors. My work has been displayed in the art gallery of my high school and I've been a note taker in university for those with disabilities. My ideal job would be to work with someone who has academic potential but who struggles with organization, and completing work in a timely matter. I want to say to those students I really do understand and would like to may a difference.

Experienced Developmental Disabilities Caregiver
I am calm, kind and considerate. During my life, I have had periods of being very active and athletic. However, I have had several serious illnesses and surgeries. Fortunately, I have been able to overcome most of the effects. Through extensive rehab and good medical care, I now function well above the norm for my age group and now and then shoot a par score in golf (handicap-8). From my experiences, it became easy to recognize good vs. bad care. My current resume is available upon request. If hired, I will endeavor to provide the best care that I am capable of. Thank you for your consideration.

Learning Disability Tutor
Hello Everyone, I am a cognitive neuroscientist who has spent several years working with children with neurodevelopmental and learning disabilities (ADHD, OCD, bipolar, autism, etc.). I have worked with many children that have all types of disabilities and know many of the best ways to help them learn and understand the material. I specialize in STEM classes with my core strengths in science and math. I have experience working with people starting from kindergarten all the way up to bachelor level college courses. My unique collection of knowledge and practical skills results in a very beneficial learning environment (especially for children with disabilities). My mother is an elementary school teacher so I am very comfortable with children and grew up at her school helping out with her kids when I can. I also have attended school in Europe and can assist with the challenges and complications that come with attending school or an exchange program over seas. Thanks, Benjamin
