About Marian

As a private teacher certified in the Orton-Gillingham approach, I have helped over 35 students in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and math, many of whom had dyslexia or other specific learning disabilities. The lessons are one-on-one and mostly online, using materials and techniques created specifically for remote learning. Whether we meet in person or online, each lesson is customized to the pace and needs of the student. The goals are to fill in the gaps in the child's knowledge in order to create a solid foundation for future learning and to promote correct habits in reading, writing, and arithmetic that will serve the child well throughout life.
