I have 18+ years of elementary teaching experience, and I recently moved to the Vancouver area from Missouri. For the past 11 years, I have primarily taught students diagnosed with mild to moderate learning disabilities. I have worked extensively with students diagnosed with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADD/ADHD, language disabilities, and challenges with executive functioning. I am a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner (an accredited Orton Gillingham program), and I have a great amount of experience teaching multi sensory math methods and strategies. I most recently completed training on "Multisensory Math Methods" with Marilyn Z. I also hold a Master's degree in Education, a lifetime teaching certificate with the state of Missouri, an initial Washington teaching certificate, and I am currently working towards a Reading Endorsement for the state of Washington through Seattle Pacific University.
